In this body of work, Obier engages with influences ranging from Leonardo da Vinci and 20th-century Art Deco futurism to science fiction and binary code. At the same time, the pieces evoke something far older—like artifacts unearthed from a long-lost, advanced civilization. They read as “future relics”, objects that seem both excavated and ahead of their time, emerging from imagined worlds that feel at once recognizable and unfamiliar.

The project extends beyond the objects themselves, delving into the mystique of their origins and their enduring, intimate connection to humanity across centuries of history.
